The Kardashians are growing their reality TV empire once again this time with a brand-new show set in Calabasas.
Khloé Kardashian has officially announced a new spinoff series called Calabasas Behind the Gates, coming soon to Hulu.
Speaking at Hulu’s “Get Real House” event on April 22, Khloé appeared with Scott Disick and gave a sneak peek of what’s to come. “It’s very exciting, very new, very excellent,” she said. “We’re excited to keep creating.”
Unlike their main reality show, this new series won’t focus on the Kardashian-Jenner family. Instead, it will explore the lives of their friends, neighbors, and close inner circle.
Rob Mills, a top executive at Disney (Hulu’s parent company), added, “We’re all curious about what really goes on behind the gates of Calabasas. Who are the people in the Kardashians’ extended world?”
Khloé, 40, didn’t say whether her family members will appear in the new series. Scott Disick, 41, also didn’t confirm if he’ll be featured. But Khloé did share that she hopes her brother, Rob Kardashian, might return to TV. “I really do,” she said. “I always have faith in Rob.”
Rob, 38, has mostly stayed out of the spotlight but was recently seen in Kim Kardashian’s Easter photo collection.
Khloé also revealed that her family members receive equal pay for their reality shows and have control over what makes it into each episode.
There’s no official release date yet for Calabasas Behind the Gates, but fans are already excited.
