Kendall Washington and Nicole Jacky, who found love on “Love Island USA” Season 6, have announced their breakup just a day after the reunion episode aired on Peacock.
The couple, who made it to the final four in the season finale, seemed to have a strong connection in the villa, but their relationship reportedly faced challenges after filming ended.
Despite their efforts to make it work, Kendall and Nicole have decided to go their separate ways, ending the romance that began on the reality dating show.
They confirmed their breakup on Instagram. In separate posts, they revealed that Kendall ended the relationship, citing that it had become unhealthy to continue.

The split comes after filming the reunion special in New York City.
Interestingly, Nicole shared that just days prior, on Sunday, they had agreed to work on their relationship, with plans for her to visit Kendall in Dallas, Texas.
However, Kendall ultimately decided to end things.
But on Tuesday, Nicole said Kendall called her to end things.
“While I understand and respect his decision, it’s hard to process this one. I opened up to him in the villa, and still love and care for him now,” Nicole said on Instagram. “I’m struggling mentally and all I ask for is privacy during this time.”
Similarly, in his Instagram statement, Kendall confirmed that he did indeed make the decision to end the relationship.
“I have decided to end things with Nicole,” Kendall said. “I still love and care for Nicole. I’ve never developed such strong feelings for a woman in my life. I have no regrets for the connection I made with her in the villa and it was real.”
Kendall further appealed to his followers not to send any negative comments to Nicole.

Kendall and Nicole hit off with each other when Nicole entered the villa as a new cast member – referred to on the show as a “bombshell.”

Kendall and Nicole remained together for the rest of the season despite Nicole’s brief interest in newcomer Miguel Harichi.
The couple was granted a private night in the “hideaway”, and by the season finale, Kendall declared his love for Nicole.
They finished as finalists, with Kordell Beckham and Serena Page winning the season.
After filming ended in July, Kendall and Nicole expressed their intention to maintain a long-distance relationship outside of the show.
However, their plans were short-lived, as they recently announced their breakup.
