As anticipation builds ahead of Super Bowl LX, sneak peeks of show-stopping commercials are starting to emerge.
Among them is a Oikos ad featuring football star Derrick Henry and Emmy-nominee Kathryn Hahn. The Agatha All Along actress, 52, has been keeping herself busy with recent Marvel series on Disney+ and other acclaimed projects.
In an exclusive interview with Parade, Hahn opened up about her new Super Bowl commercial, titled “The Big Hill,” shot against the backdrop of San Francisco’s iconic hills. The ad showcases Oikos’ Triple Zero High Protein Greek Yogurt and Protein Shakes, following Hahn and Henry on a cable car tour through the city as they face unexpected challenges that the Oikos products help them overcome.
“I’m a mom, I have teenagers, so the fact that I could maybe throw one of these [Oikos products] at them on the way out the door gives me…I just feel like I’ve done my job as a mom for that day, that they have enough power to get through the rest of their day,” Hahn shared with Parade. She also expressed her excitement about working with Derrick Henry, describing it as a dream come true.
Next up for Hahn is a project focused on football: Madden, a biopic film also starring Oscar-winners Nicolas Cage and Christian Bale. “It is kind of amazing to be doing an NFL ad and then have this coming out,” Hahn told Parade, expressing her pride in the upcoming film.
The Oikos ad and Madden project mark a year filled with football-related ventures for Kathryn Hahn, revealing a new side of the versatile actress to audiences.
Closing with a crisp editorial line, the new year promises to be an exciting one for Hahn as she delves deeper into the world of football on screen.
