Karen Padham Taylor is the wife of the new Twitter Chairman of Board, Bret Taylor. She is Canadian. They got married in 2006.

On 29th November 2021, Jack Dorsey announced that Bret Taylor will be succeeding Patrick Pichette, a former Google executive, who will remain on the board as chair of the audit committee.

She has a BMath degree from the Univerity of Waterloo. She graduated from college in 2003.

She was previously an Associate Product Manager at Google.

Bret and Karen Padham Taylor got married in 2006. They met through the APM program at Google. Together, they have 3 children.

Causes

Karen is a big supporter of education as she is listed in the top tier of supporters of Lafayette Partners in Education, a nonprofit that supports the city’s public schools.

Karen Padham Taylor also created a scholarship for women in computer science at her alma mater, the University of Waterloo. The value of the scholarship is $7500.
