JetBlue Unveils New BlueHouse Lounge at JFK Terminal 5

JetBlue has recently unveiled a new addition to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in Terminal 5 (T5) – the BlueHouse, a 9,000 square foot, two-floor airport lounge designed to embody the spirit of New York City. With a focus on providing premium experiences to its customers, JetBlue’s new lounge features a game room, designated quiet areas, high-speed Wi-Fi, and ample power outlets for travelers to relax, work, or play before their flights.

The BlueHouse lounge aims to create a warm and comfortable ambiance reminiscent of a New York City apartment, with local art curated by Statement Of, brass accents, and a residential-inspired lobby-style entry. The space also pays homage to JetBlue’s history with a mural by Artists for Humanity depicting JetBlue destinations as constellations, much like Grand Central’s iconic ceiling.

In a press release, JetBlue President Marty St. George emphasized the lounge’s role in making the flagship terminal feel more like home for customers. He highlighted the hospitality and thoughtful amenities offered at BlueHouse, stating that it represents a significant milestone in JetBlue’s JetForward journey, bringing affordable, premium experiences from the aircraft to the airport.

Guests at the BlueHouse lounge can enjoy a variety of fresh bites curated by Union Square Events, including New York staples like bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches for breakfast, and pastrami on rye and chicken Caesar wraps for lunch. The lounge also offers refreshing drinks from local partners like The Greats of Craft and Please Don’t Tell, as well as coffee and matcha from beloved New York establishments like Joe Coffee and Dona.

Complimentary access to BlueHouse is available for Mosaic 4 members, JetBlue Premier Cardmembers, and transatlantic Mint customers. For those not eligible for complimentary access, limited-access passes will be available for purchase from February 2026 onwards, with the option to bring one guest for an additional fee.

Overall, the BlueHouse lounge at JFK Airport showcases JetBlue’s commitment to providing a premium and comfortable experience for travelers, blending elements of New York City style with the airline’s signature hospitality. It’s a welcome addition for JetBlue customers looking for a relaxing and stylish pre-flight experience.
