JetBlue recently announced new year-round nonstop flights from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Orlando International Airport and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, along with additional daily service to New York’s LaGuardia Airport.
The timing couldn’t be better. Fort Lauderdale is conveniently located near two of the country’s busiest cruise hubs, Port Everglades, and nearby PortMiami. Meanwhile, Orlando remains the epicenter of theme park growth, with new attractions drawing travelers year-round. JetBlue’s new twice-daily Fort Lauderdale–Orlando flights, set to launch on May 21, provide a convenient link between two of Florida’s top travel destinations. To celebrate the new route, JetBlue is offering a limited-time introductory fare starting at $49 one way.
JetBlue is also upgrading its Fort Lauderdale–Dallas route to a permanent, daily service starting on March 12. Originally intended as a spring-break-only service, the route’s shift to year-round status showcases the demand from travelers heading between South Florida and Texas, whether for vacations, family visits, or onward connections.
In addition, JetBlue is adding two more daily flights between Fort Lauderdale and LaGuardia, giving New York-area travelers more flexibility when traveling south. These changes highlight JetBlue’s increased investment in Fort Lauderdale, where the airline plans to operate its largest schedule ever later this year, with over 100 daily departures to destinations across the U.S., the Caribbean, and Latin America.
