Jason Aldean reflects on the creation of his 2025 single, “How Far Does a Goodbye Go?” in an intimate Instagram video with songwriters Kurt Allison, John Edwards, Tully Kennedy, and John Morgan. He immediately knew this heartbreak anthem would be the lead single for his upcoming album, “Songs About Us.”

When presented with the song, Aldean felt there was something special about it, and his team quickly expressed interest in recording it for the new album. Edwards praised the songwriters for their ability to tailor the song to Aldean’s style, bringing it to life in the process.

Since the release of the single in September 2025, Aldean has unveiled six more tracks from “Songs About Us,” including a duet with his wife, Brittany Aldean, titled “Easier Gone.” Other songs from the album include “Help You Remember,” “What’s A Little Heartache,” “Her Favorite Color,” “Hard To Love You,” and “Lovin’ Me Too Long.”

The full tracklist for the upcoming album features a mix of emotional and energetic songs, showcasing Aldean’s versatility as an artist. “Songs About Us” is set to drop on Friday, April 24.
