Jaime Lynn Ruiz of Survivor 44 Showcases Stunning Survivor-Themed Christmas Tree

Jaime Lynn Ruiz of Survivor 44 showcased a stunning Survivor-themed Christmas tree, giving fans a glimpse of the special ornaments and their meanings in a video shared on Instagram on Dec. 15. The tree, initially designed in 2023 after Ruiz’s season aired, has now become a cherished tradition in her home. One notable ornament was a Survivor 44 Christmas ornament gifted to her by Survivor 43 winner, Mike Gabler. Other ornaments included items like coconuts, bowls of rice, a lime, and chili used to flavor the rice. Reward foods like a lemon macaron, charcuterie, and pomegranates were also part of her collection, along with some of the less appetizing items they had to eat on the show, such as worms, sea cucumbers, and snails.

The tree topper, a combination of a star and an angel, had a unique addition: Jeff Probst, the host of Survivor. The tree also featured ornaments that offered a behind-the-scenes peek into the show, such as a Hershey’s Kiss which Ruiz ate after being voted off, and a crab trap they built on the show in an attempt to catch crabs, which, spoiler alert, they were unsuccessful in doing.

Fans were enamored with the sentimental and creative decoration, with one viewer calling it the “most perfect Christmas tree.” The tree perfectly complements Ruiz’s current Instagram series where she shares videos of herself cooking various foods from her time on Survivor, from delicious rewards to less-than-appetizing desperation meals. In a Nov. 12 video, she demonstrated how to prepare sea snails, joking that everything tastes good when you’re starving on an island.

Ruiz’s Survivor-themed Christmas tree not only reflects her time on the show but also serves as a unique and creative holiday decoration. Its combination of personalized ornaments and behind-the-scenes elements make it a standout piece, showcasing Ruiz’s creativity and connection to her Survivor experience.
