Ronda Rousey is getting ready for round two!
The 37-year-old professional wrestler and her husband, Travis Browne, are expecting their second child.
She announced her pregnancy on Thursday in San Diego at a Comic-Con panel hosted by Dave Bautista.
“This experience in itself has been so rewarding, and with your support, I hope to continue to be a graphic novelist,” she told the crowd at the launch of her debut graphic novel, Expecting the Unexpected.
“It doesn’t attack my body as much, so maybe I can keep doing this until I’m an old lady — or at least while I keep popping out these babies!”
“Did anyone notice that I’m very pregnant right now? Yeah, I’m just as pregnant as ‘Mom’ is in the majority of the comic,” Rousey added, standing up to reveal and cradle her baby bump while sporting a pink floral dress.
Rousey and Browne, both former UFC MMA stars, are parents to their 2-year-old daughter La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō. Browne also has two teenage sons, Kaleo and Keawe, from his previous marriage to Erin Browne.
Travis aged 42, was previously married to Jenna Renee Webb before marrying Rousey in Hawaii in August 2017.
Their daughter La’akea was born in September 2021, with Rousey announcing the news on Instagram with a photo of their newborn’s hand while breastfeeding.
In another photo, the little girl’s hand could be seen holding onto Browne’s tattooed arm.
The proud dad, aged 39, also shared these pictures on his account with the caption, “Welcome to this world, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne. You are so incredibly loved!” Rousey mentioned to People last June that her daughter seemed to be following in her footsteps.
“Oh, she’s definitely going to be tough. She doesn’t respond to pain so much,” the WWE alum shared. “She just fell and scraped her knee today, and she was just, like, she didn’t even cry. She just kind of grunts it out! The world isn’t ready for this little girl.”
The couple first got together in 2015, and Browne proposed two years later in New Zealand.
