Instagram Users Excited Over New Resharing Feature

The latest Instagram update has users buzzing with excitement. The social media platform now allows users to reshare Stories from public profiles to their own Instagram Story, a feature that has long been awaited by users. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced the update on December 8, revealing that users can now easily add public Stories to their own Story with just a click of a button.

The new feature has been met with praise from users across the platform, with many expressing their excitement and approval of the update. Fans have been quick to react, with one user commenting, “Instagram has been doing some solid updates lately, hats off,” while another wrote, “Legit so excited about this!”

This latest change comes hot on the heels of another update that received backlash from users. In October, Instagram moved the direct message button to the middle of the bottom navigation bar, replacing the “Post” button. Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri shared the update on December 4, explaining the reasoning behind the change and how the app is being organized around what users use most, such as reels and DMs.

Fans voiced their frustration with the changes, expressing their longing for the old Instagram and criticizing the platform for straying from its original purpose. One follower commented, “Instagram is drifting far from the original idea of the platform. Now: Too much content I didn’t ask for, suggested content, sponsored content,” while another wrote, “Totally get that you want to evolve, but don’t make changes for the sake of making changes.”

Instagram is constantly evolving, with updates and changes being rolled out regularly. It remains to be seen what the next rollout will bring as the platform continues to adapt to the needs and wants of its users.
