Social media influencer Zaria Khadejah Carr known to her followers as Duchess Dior was tragically killed on June 14, 2025, in her Twin City, Georgia home. She was 27 years old and a mother of two.

Authorities say her husband, Shamarcus Carr, fatally shot her shortly after the couple argued during a Facebook Live session.

The livestream captured a tense exchange where both accused each other of cheating. In a chilling moment, Shamarcus said, “You’re going to make me kill you.”

Police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance around 9:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found Zaria unresponsive from gunshot wounds.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. Shamarcus fled in her 2021 black Dodge Challenger, prompting a statewide alert.

About an hour later, officers located the vehicle in Wayne County. During a brief police chase, Shamarcus reportedly turned the gun on himself. He later died at a local hospital.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is now handling the case, and autopsies are underway.
