Ariana Grande has clarified that she’s not using Botox, despite jokingly attributing her youthful look to injectables.
“I’m still clean! I’m still clean!” the “Wicked” actress told “Entertainment Tonight” after receiving the rising star award at the Palm Springs Film Festival on Friday.
Grande, who launched R.E.M. Beauty in 2021, emphasized her desire to be transparent as a beauty founder, mentioning that she has been “clean” from Botox for four years.
She even promised to keep her fans updated if she decides to use injectables again in the future, saying, “When I start going again, I’ll let you know! I mean it.”
While the pop star has excluded Botox from her routine, she expressed her support for the treatment.
“But I love it, and I support it,” she stated. “But I am still four years clean. You see the lines? I love them!”
Grande also humorously acknowledged the irony of receiving the rising star award at 31, saying, “I’ve been performing since I was a child, so I never thought at the age of 31 I would be hearing the words ‘rising star’ again.”
She added a playful nod to her friends, saying, “So I wanted to start by thanking my two friends: Botox and Juvederm.”
The Grammy winner previously explained her decision to stop using Botox and lip fillers in a Vogue “Beauty Secrets” video from September 2023.
Last September, Grande also tackled plastic surgery rumors.
During a Vanity Fair lie detector test with her “Wicked” co-star Cynthia Erivo, the pop sensation denied having a nose job or breast augmentation.
When asked if she had undergone a facelift, Grande replied, “No, not yet. I’m open.”
