I Did Not Want My 12 Year Old Daughter Blue Ivy, on Stage During Renaissance Tour – Beyonce

Beyoncé has revealed that she initially hesitated to have her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, join her on stage during her recent tour.

In a recent interview with GQ, Beyoncé shared that she’s accustomed to having her children by her side and that they frequently accompany her to work.

“My kids come with me everywhere I go,” she explained.

“They come to my office after school, and they are in the studio with me. They are in dance rehearsals. It’s natural that they would learn my choreography,”

As a result, it was only natural for Blue Ivy to learn her mother’s choreography and eventually join her on stage.

Beyoncé further revealed that her daughter Blue took an interest in being on stage with her when the Renaissance World Tour came around.

“Blue is an artist. She has great taste in music and fashion. She is a fantastic editor, painter and actress,” the proud mom said.

“She has been creating characters since she was three. She’s a natural, but I did not want Blue onstage.”

“Blue wanted it for herself. She took it seriously, and she earned it. And most importantly, she had fun! We all watched her grow more and more every night before our eyes.”

12-year-old Blue made a show-stopping debut on her mother’s tour, surprising fans with her impressive dance skills during the May 26, 2023, concert in Paris.

Her energetic performance of “My Power” quickly went viral, sparking a dance trend on TikTok as fans couldn’t get enough of her dazzling choreography.
