Released on Feb. 27, 1995, via Atlantic Records, this timeless tune, penned by Steve Diamond, Jennifer Kimball, and Maribeth Derry, tells the story of a yearning romantic dreaming of her fairy-tale ending. Montgomery, with his distinctive twang and baritone vocals, promises love and devotion, pledging to fulfill all of her wishes.

The official music video for “I Can Love You Like That” captures the essence of the song, showcasing Montgomery performing on a floral-adorned staircase against a backdrop of wedding scenes, beautifully brought to life by director Marc Ball.
