H.E.R. has announced that she is breaking into the fashion world with a limited-edition loungewear collection coming out this month on Amazon’s The Drop.
The luxe loungewear from the collection is inspired by the Bay Area, Brooklyn, and Filipino heritage. The clothes are oversized and comfortable, with T-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, and sweatshorts all costing less than $100.
“There are two places that really made me who I am—my hometown of Vallejo, California, and Brooklyn, New York where I’ve spent a lot of time. I’m also half Filipino, and I wanted to include something that represented my culture,” H.E.R. shared in a statement regarding the collection. “These places all really contributed to my growth as an artist and as a woman, and it was important for me to represent all of them in my collection.”
The Drop is a shopping experience that is different than any other. In this experience, customers have 36 hours to shop collections from select influencers and brands. People are not given a lot of notice about new collections on The Drop. This is why it is important for people to sign up so they can be informed when new collections come out.
