Guns N’ Roses is not only hitting the road with their timeless hits for their upcoming world tour but also offering a unique experience for their fans in a whole new way.
Before their highly anticipated tour starts this March, the legendary rock band has announced a new way for fans to engage beyond just attending their shows. In a recent social media post, the iconic rockers introduced an interactive fan tournament called the “Bracket Brawl.” This tournament follows a “March Madness” style where fans can vote for their favorite Guns N’ Roses song, album, or music video to move on to the next round, eliminating the losers along the way. Entries for the tournament can be submitted through the band’s official website.
The statement on their official website reads, “Gunners, welcome to the bracket brawl! Which song is going to come out on top? All the classics and deep cuts are going head-to-head, and we need your vote! Join now and get your entries in by Sunday, March 22. Fans vote, the winners move on, and the losers get knocked out.”
The rules for the tournament state that only one entry per person is allowed, and any violations may result in disqualification. The lucky winners will receive a special merchandise package that includes exclusive vinyl records, a hoodie, a color LP, and a dad hat.
This interactive contest comes on the heels of the announcement of the world tour by the 2012 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees. The tour will cover five continents with over 40 performances, starting in Latin America in March and April, moving on to North America and Europe in the summer, and ending in Asia-Pacific in November and December.
The global tour dates are as follows:
