Great American Family kicked off its fifth year of Great American Christmas programming this year on Friday, Oct. 10, starting the holiday festivities early. The network was rebranded in 2021 by CEO Bill Abbott and investors, featuring a lineup of Christmas movies. The holiday programming this year includes beloved stars like Danica McKellar, Mario Lopez, and Candace Cameron Bure.
“The Great American Christmas tradition has become a cherished part of our viewers’ holiday season,” said Bill Abbott, President & CEO of Great American Media. The network celebrates its fifth year with a lineup of original films featuring fan favorite stars.
The holiday programming began in October this year on Great American Family and the app GFAM+. Movies can be watched on Great American Family through cable or satellite providers, the GFAM+ app with a subscription, or the streaming platform Great American Pure Flix.
The schedule for Great American Christmas in 2025 includes a variety of new movies premiering throughout the holiday season. Each film will have its linear broadcast premiere on Saturdays at 8 p.m. ET on Great American Family and its streaming premiere the Thursday before on Great American Pure Flix.
One of the highlighted movies is “Christmas at the Inn,” starring Jill Wagner and Trevor Donovan. The film tells the story of a café owner returning home for a town’s Yuletide Potluck and reuniting with a man from a past blind date.
Another movie to look out for is “Have We Met This Christmas?” featuring Danica McKellar and Jesse Hutch. The film follows an amnesiac real estate executive finding love at a cozy mountain inn.
