Gisele Bündchen is officially a mom of three! The supermodel and her boyfriend Joaquim Valente welcomed their first child this week, as confirmed by TMZ.
However, no further details about the newborn have been shared yet.
Bündchen had previously posted an inspirational message on Instagram, featuring a clip of her cradling her baby bump.
She captioned it, “Happiness is an inside job. Remember, you are the only one who has the power to create the life you want to live.”
She has two other children, a son named Benjamin Rein, 14, and a daughter named Vivian Lake, with her ex-husband Tom Brady.
The couple split in mid-2022 after 13 years of marriage, and she has been linked to Valente, her jiu-jitsu instructor, since mid-2023.
An insider shared with PEOPLE, “Joaquim is a great guy. He is down to earth, kind, and inspiring. It’s been very natural for her to date Joaquim.
They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other.”
The model’s pregnancy was first revealed in October, with reports indicating she was 5-6 months along.
In the meantime, Tom Brady was reportedly “blindsided” by Gisele Bündchen’s pregnancy.
A source told Page Six, “Tom knew that things were serious between Gisele and Joaquim, but he never imagined they would be having a child together.
It just wasn’t something that was on his radar. So when Gisele broke the news to him, he was stunned, to say the least.”
Nevertheless, the Daily Mail reported that the NFL star has been having difficulty moving on from his marriage to Bündchen.
“Tom would love to date more,” a source shared. “But he is busy and very focused on his first year of being a commentator. It is easier to be single right now.”
The insider noted that Brady’s ex moving on and having another child was a “sting” for him.
“At first, everything stings. Her getting pregnant, her hanging out with Joaquim, her moving on. But then he snaps out of it and remains busy, knowing that his life is pretty good and that worrying about things he can’t control is a waste of time.”
They added, “Brady could complain, but what’s the point? He got the best out of the relationship with Gisele until it fell apart; now it’s not his problem anymore. He will be fine.”
