The Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida arrested Joseph, 31, on March 18, charging him with lewd and lascivious behavior involving a victim less than 12 years old, as well as lewd and lascivious behavior by an adult. Just two days later, on March 20, Kendra, 27, was also arrested in Arkansas, facing charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and false imprisonment.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Thursday, March 26, Joy-Anna, 28, addressed the distressing allegations against her brother and sister-in-law. Expressing sorrow for the victim, she shared her grief over the situation.
The incidents reportedly took place during a family vacation in 2020, where Joseph allegedly made inappropriate advances towards a 9-year-old girl. According to the victim’s account, Joseph repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap and touched her inappropriately, only stopping after offering an apology.
Kendra’s arrest was triggered by a routine home study following Joseph’s arrest, revealing safety concerns in their residence. Sources revealed that the positioning of door locks raised suspicions of wrongful detainment of their children, leading to her arrest.
As of now, neither Joseph nor Kendra has issued a statement regarding the charges they are facing.
