The highly-anticipated Foo Fighters “Take Cover” tour is set to make its way to Australia and New Zealand, with a series of exciting tour dates planned. The tour, which will also cover Europe and North America, is scheduled to kick off on Nov. 5 in Brisbane, Australia, and conclude on Jan. 25 in Perth, Australia.
Joining the Foo Fighters on this leg of the tour are several talented supporting acts, including Full Flower Moon Band, Mini Skirt, DOWNGIRL, The Belair Lip Bombs, TEENS, The Buoys, C.O.F.F.I.N., Frenzee, Kurralta Park, Spooky Eyes, DARTZ, SEEK HELP!, Dick Move, Ringlets, The Southern River Band, and Last Quokka.
Tickets for the Australian and New Zealand tour dates will go on sale on Feb. 25, with a pre-sale available on Feb. 23 for eager fans who sign up on the band’s website. Meanwhile, tickets for all other tour dates are already on sale.
Fans of the iconic band, which features former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl as the frontman, have been buzzing with excitement following cryptic social media posts hinting at new music ahead of the upcoming tour. Since their formation in 1994, the Foo Fighters have released a total of eleven studio albums.
In a touching tribute, the band recently honored their former drummer, Taylor Hawkins, who tragically passed away in 2022, on what would have been his birthday.
