As February draws to a close, streaming enthusiasts are buzzing with anticipation to discover the fresh and captivating titles making their debut on Netflix in March. And one franchise that has everyone on the edge of their seats is the entire Jurassic World series.
Included in this lineup are the films Jurassic World (2015), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), and the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion (2022), as well as the highly anticipated 2025 release, Jurassic World: Rebirth.
Of these, fans are especially eager for Jurassic World: Rebirth, which features powerhouse stars like Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey. The film made waves at the global box office, grossing between $869 million and $886 million.
In addition, Netflix is home to two animated series set in the Jurassic World universe: Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory, available for streaming now.
These new additions stem from Netflix’s expansive licensing deal with Universal, where Universal movies first stream on Peacock before landing on Netflix in a later window.
Beyond the Jurassic World films, March is shaping up to be a momentous month for Netflix’s original and returning content. The Actors Awards presented by SAG-AFTRA, hosted by Kristen Bell, kicks off the month with a live stream on March 1.
Netflix is rolling out a slew of new and returning series in March, including Season 2 of ONE PIECE (March 10) and Season 7 of Virgin River (March 12). The month will also see the limited Spanish drama That Night and part two of Beauty in Black Season 2 hit the platform.
The month culminates with the highly anticipated release of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man on March 20, starring Cillian Murphy, along with the music documentary The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and other Netflix originals like Furies Season 2 and Radioactive Emergency, a Brazilian series.
Anime fans have cause for celebration as well, with titles like Steel Ball Run and Beastars making their way to the streaming service.
