Elizabeth Moss has confirmed the arrival of her first child.
The Handmaid’s Tale star shared the joy of bringing her little one to the set during an appearance at the 2025 PaleyFest LA on Wednesday.
She expressed gratitude, noting that many parents are not able to have this experience, adding, “Anyone who’s had the privilege of bringing their kids to work would always think, ‘Aren’t we lucky to do this?’”
While Moss didn’t reveal her child’s name, age, or gender, she had previously announced her pregnancy during a January 2024 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live amid speculation about a baby bump.
When Kimmel playfully asked if she was “pregnant or just an incredibly committed method actor,” Moss joked, “A little bit of both.”
She also shared that her pregnancy was going “really well” and that she felt “really lucky.”
Moss’ announcement comes six years after she spoke to Marie Claire UK about her family plans, and by 2022, she had confirmed to You magazine that she “definitely” wanted children.
Although she didn’t address her child’s paternity during her recent appearance, Moss has kept her romantic life private, most recently dating cinematographer Adam Arkapaw from 2012 to 2015.
