Biography of Dr Lynette Nusbacher

Dr Lynette Nusbacher is a renowned writer and historian. She was born in New York City, New York on December 17, 1996. Dr Lynette Nusbacher was assigned male at birth, however, she underwent transition in her adult life and has since been living as a woman. 

In 1998, she got married to Melanie Bright after meeting at Royal Military College. They were married for 12 years and eventually got divorced in 2010 after having two children together. 

She is also a publisher and has two books and numerous researches to her credit on military evolution and recent military interventions in the Middle East and other regions. 

She has a Bachelor’s degree in History and Economics from the University of Toronto, which she attended between 1984 and 1988. She also has a Masters’ degree in War studies, from the Royal Military College of Canada between 1994 and 1996. 

In 2001, she graduated from Oxford university with a DPhil in History.

In the span of her career, she has been featured on BBC and History channel in documentaries where she was an expert on war and army politics. She has also worked as a lecturer in universities since 2006, such as University of Reading. 

She taught at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, for three years where she lectured Prince William and Prince Harry, who were pursuing military studies at the time. 

Dr Lynette Nusbacher has also been featured in episodes of the series Time Commanders between 2003 and 2005, as an expert in military history, Weaponology (2007), Battlefield Detectives (2004-2005), and Mysteries of the Abandoned (2019). 

She is the author of Battle of Bannockburn 1314, War and Conflict.
