Donna Mills: A Timeless Hollywood Icon

At 85 years old, Donna Mills, known for her troublemaker role in Knots Landing, still exudes the same energy and vitality she did back in the ’80s. Starting her career with Clint Eastwood’s 1971 film Play Misty for Me, Mills captured hearts in the primetime soap opera Knots as the chaotic Abby Cunningham, causing chaos across Los Angeles. Although the show ran from 1979 to 1993, Mills departed in 1989 to pursue various TV movie projects.

More recently, Mills graced screens in General Hospital and Jordan Peele’s 2022 horror film Nope. In addition to appearing on Doctor Odyssey, she co-hosts a podcast titled We’re Knot Done Yet with former Knots Landing stars Joan Van Ark and Michele Lee, keeping her loyal fanbase engaged and entertained.

Despite her age, Mills showcased her athleticism at a recent media launch event for the racquet sport TYPTI in El Segundo, California. Hosted by Steve Bellamy at California Smash, Mills displayed her talent on the court, swinging a racket like a champion.

To celebrate her recent 85th birthday, Mills took to Instagram with a stunning photo, reflecting on the moments that shaped her life and expressing gratitude for what lies ahead.

Joining forces with Morgan Fairchild, Jaclyn Smith, and Alana Stewart, Mills paid tribute to their late friend Farrah Fawcett at the Farrah Fawcett Foundation 2025 Tex-Mex Fiesta last October. The event raised funds for HPV-related cancer research and patient assistance funds during treatment. Stewart, in particular, has been vocal about Fawcett’s legacy, writing a book and filming a documentary about their friendship.

Overall, Donna Mills continues to impress with her timeless grace and unwavering spirit, making her a true Hollywood icon.
