Adele has made it clear that she is prioritizing her upcoming marriage to fiancé Rich Paul and starting a family over her music career.
The Skyfall singer reportedly turned down a $100 million offer to extend her Las Vegas residency for another two years.
A source told Life & Style, “While fans may be disappointed by the news, it’s evident that Adele is choosing to prioritize family over fortune for now.” The insider added, “She has more money than she could ever spend, but now she wants a life.”
The source continued, “People don’t realize how much you sacrifice to stay at the top like Adele!” This announcement follows Adele’s declaration of a break from performing on September 1, as her Las Vegas residency wraps up in November.
Adele said during a performance in Munich, “I have 10 more shows to do, but after that, you won’t see me for a very long time. I will hold you dear in my heart.”
The Weekends with Adele residency, which began in November 2022, will conclude with her final 10 performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from October 25 to November 23.
