Super Bowl LX is fast approaching, and the NFL is bringing a new level of kindness to fandom. In an exclusive announcement to The Hollywood Reporter, NFL executives revealed that Dhar Mann, a 41-year-old YouTube sensation, has been appointed the league’s very first Chief Kindness Officer. Mann, who was also named the NFL’s “Creator of the Week” leading up to the big game, is known for his role in promoting sportsmanship, empathy, and positivity both on and off the field.
Named the No. 2 YouTube creator by Forbes, Dhar Mann has taken on this new role to spread messages of respect and kindness through storytelling. Collaborating with the NFL, Mann aims to create original content that encourages fans to approach the game with compassion, even amidst the fierce competition between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.
“I’m truly honored to have been chosen as the NFL’s Chief Kindness Officer,” Mann shared with The Hollywood Reporter. “The Super Bowl transcends beyond just football – it’s a moment where millions of people come together and share a collective experience. I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of that shared connection. This week is about channeling the passion that the NFL stands for into acts of kindness, empathy, and sportsmanship, both on and off the field.”
As the countdown to Super Bowl LX continues, Dhar Mann has joined forces with the NFL to launch the “Be Nice to Your Rival” campaign. This social initiative encourages fans to showcase kindness towards their rivals, whether it be an opposing fan base, a player, or a rivalry beyond the game itself. Fans can participate by performing acts of generosity or sharing positive messages about their rivals on social media.
For every post using the hashtag #KindnessWinsBig, Dhar Mann will donate $1 to the NFL’s charitable partner, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, up to a total of $100,000.
Fans can catch Dhar Mann’s Super Bowl-related content on his official platforms, including his YouTube channel and social media accounts. Additionally, his content will be featured on NFL digital channels, serving as a complement to Super Bowl coverage. Through short-form storytelling, he reinforces the league’s message of kindness and sportsmanship.
Known for reaching over 130 million followers globally through Dhar Mann Studios, the influential YouTube creator uses platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook to connect with his audience.
Super Bowl LX is set to take place on Sunday, February 7, 2026, when the New England Patriots will face off against the Seattle Seahawks. The game will be held at Levi Stadium in San Mateo, California, airing on NBC and streaming on Peacock and NFL+ (mobile only) with kickoff scheduled for just after 6:30 p.m. ET.
