His daughter recounted, “He has a broken back, broken neck, and broken ribs… The crash was severe, and first responders had to cut him out of his vehicle.”

In an announcement on March 5, he expressed uncertainty about the future: “I have to take this day by day and I’m not sure yet what that looks like… I ask for your patience as I don’t know where this goes at this point.”
