During the second day of her emotional testimony in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex-trafficking trial, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura detailed the physical toll that the alleged “Freak-Offs” took on her body throughout their relationship.
In Manhattan federal court on Wednesday, Assistant United States Attorney Emily Johnson questioned the “Me & U” singer, 38, about any “medical issues” she experienced.
Ventura explained, “I had a lot of stomach issues and gastrointestinal issues from taking drugs.”
As she had testified on the first day, Ventura, who is currently eight months pregnant with her third child, said she would take various drugs like ecstasy, marijuana, ketamine, GHB, or mushrooms during these sexual encounters with Combs and an escort.
She explained that these substances were a way to cope with the “emotionless and sex with a stranger who I didn’t want to have sex with.”
On Wednesday, Ventura further testified that the “Freak-Offs” led to “frequent” urinary tract infections due to the “back to back” nature of the sex sessions.
She even recounted participating in a “Freak-Off” while already having an infection, noting that common remedies for UTIs no longer worked for her, describing it as “just a mess” and “really painful for a long time.”
She reflected on the stand, “I actually can’t believe I dealt with that.” In a brief moment of levity, Ventura advised against it, calling the sensation “horrible” and “the most uncomfortable, burning.”
The “King of Hearts” singer also testified about developing “sores” on her tongue due to contact with various substances, including oil and lubricants, during the “Freak-Offs.”
She had previously described a hotel room where Combs had a blow-up pool filled with oil and lube for these encounters, which he liked for the “glistening” effect on their bodies.
Ventura stated on Wednesday that Combs was aware of her health struggles. The court was shown a text message where the Bad Boy Records founder told her, “I need you to go to the doc.”
However, Ventura said on the stand, “I took the blame for things. I just didn’t understand why he was saying sorry about something that happened many times.”
