During my recent trip to Orlando, my family and I decided to switch things up and stay at Caribe Royale Orlando, an all-suite property close to Disney World. As soon as we stepped into our villa, I had a feeling it would be a refreshing change of pace for us. Here’s my honest review of our stay there.
The property boasts 1,337 suites and villas spread across seven buildings, making it ideal for large families or group getaways. We opted for a spacious two-bedroom villa with a view of the private pool exclusively available to villa guests. The villa featured a generously sized living room, complete with a queen-size sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances and cookware. Having a washer and dryer in the villa was a game-changer, especially with a teenage daughter who takes her time getting ready. The screened patio was a lovely touch, protecting us from pesky mosquitoes and providing a peaceful retreat from the theme park hustle.
In terms of dining options, Caribe Royale Orlando doesn’t disappoint. With eight on-site dining and bar concepts, there’s something for everyone. We sampled dishes at Calypso’s Pool Bar & Grille, enjoying grilled red snapper with rice, plantains, and black beans. The food was flavorful, and my son even gave his burger a thumbs up. For a more interactive dining experience, we visited Stadium Club, an entertaining sports bar where we indulged in bar-inspired bites and played virtual games for hours.
When it comes to activities, the resort offers plenty to keep guests entertained. The main pool features a thrilling water slide and waterfalls, while there’s also a kiddie pool and splash pad for little ones. Private cabanas can be reserved for a VIP poolside experience, and the resort’s sports facilities, including a basketball court, padel court, and pickleball court, provided endless fun for our family. A complimentary shuttle service to all four Disney parks and Disney Springs made exploring the area easy and convenient.
Caribe Royale Orlando is conveniently located just 15 miles from Orlando International Airport, making it a seamless choice for travelers. The resort offers spacious accommodations, a Disney shuttle, and a variety of dining and activities—all at an affordable price point. It’s the perfect place to stay for a stress-free and enjoyable Orlando getaway.
