Cardi B is now a mom of three!
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper announced via Instagram on Thursday she welcomed her third baby with estranged husband Offset (his sixth) on Sept. 7.
Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, also posted photos of the Migos emcee cradling the newborn, with their other two kids, Kulture, 6, and Wave, 3, close by.
She was seen smiling with her newborn in her arms in a hospital bed, adorned in a vibrant robe.
Cardi captioned the post with, “The prettiest lil thing, 9/7/24”.
In early August, first announced her pregnancy just one day after she filed for divorce from Offset, 32.
She wrote on her Instagram, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!”
“Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!
“It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!” she concluded her post.
Later in August, Cardi revealed that she’d recently experienced a “freak accident” that left her briefly “paralyzed” and almost caused a pregnancy loss in an X Spaces chat.
“I had a f–king freak accident. I don’t know how something — well, it wasn’t little, it actually hurt,” the singer said without specifying details or a diagnosis.
“It doesn’t really happen often, but it become [sic] so big to the point I was literally paralyzed,” she added.
“And that little thing almost cost me my little one to come.”Fortunately, “it didn’t,” she shared. “Yesterday I was feeling good. I came home, but I came home high as a kite.”
Cardi continued to update her fans on how she was feeling, saying, “Today, I woke up sober, honey. I’m dying, If I don’t feel good in four hours, I’m going to the hospital and I don’t give a f—.”
“I’mma exaggerate this s— so I can get more morphine. Morphine me down! I don’t give a damn,” she added with a laugh.
