Disney has officially locked down August 2026 for the highly-anticipated release of “Camp Rock 3” on both Disney+ and Disney Channel. The third installment in the beloved Disney Channel musical franchise will hit screens 16 years after “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” premiered in 2010, with the original “Camp Rock” debuting in June 2008.
Fans can prepare for a nostalgia-filled reunion as the Jonas Brothers return to reprise their roles in the film. Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, and Kevin Jonas will once again portray Shane, Nate, and Jason Gray, while Maria Canals-Barrera returns as camp director Connie. Joining the cast as fresh campers are Sherry Cola, Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, and Lumi Pollack.
In a classic reset, the band in “Camp Rock 3” finds themselves in need of a new opening act for their reunion tour. They head back to Camp Rock to search for the next big sensation, echoing the real-life Jonas Brothers reunion tour that has been captivating audiences for the past few years.
Behind the camera, Veronica Rodriguez directs the film, with a screenplay by Eydie Faye and choreography by Jamal Sims. The project was first teased last December with a clip of the Jonas Brothers walking back toward the camp lake, creating anticipation for the upcoming release.
Demi Lovato joins as an executive producer alongside the Jonas Brothers and other industry insiders. Whether Lovato’s character Mitchie Torres will make an appearance on-screen remains a mystery, adding to the excitement and intrigue surrounding the film.
“Camp Rock 3” promises to be a must-watch event for fans of the franchise, offering a nostalgic trip back to the beloved Camp Rock setting with a fresh twist. Don’t miss the chance to relive the magic of Camp Rock this August on Disney+ and Disney Channel.
