In a chilling turn of events, a 33-year-old man from Pennsylvania, Nafis Lamont Donte Fisher, recently found himself in hot water after breaking into a home and attempting to restrain a woman in the dead of night. The woman, however, managed to break free and alert authorities, leading to Fisher’s eventual arrest.
The harrowing incident unfolded in the early hours of a Tuesday morning when police responded to a reported burglary at a residence on Miller Drive. Upon arrival, they were met with a terrifying scene – a woman recounting her ordeal of waking up to Fisher restraining her in her own bed. Thankfully, she was able to escape his grasp and raise the alarm.
Fisher’s brazen actions did not stop there as he encountered the victim’s mother in the hallway, engaging in a physical struggle before fleeing the scene in a black sedan. The aftermath revealed a trail of stolen items, including an ID, a U.S. Passport, credit/debit cards, and the victim’s valuable AirPods.
The plot took an unexpected turn when the police utilized the tracking feature on the stolen AirPods to pinpoint Fisher’s location in Philadelphia. Through a coordinated effort between the Upper Southampton Police Department and the Philadelphia Police Department, Fisher was apprehended while sleeping in his vehicle, which contained the stolen items.
Subsequent investigations and Fisher’s alleged confessions led to a slew of serious charges against him, including burglary, aggravated assault, robbery, criminal trespassing, theft, and more. As the legal proceedings unfolded, Fisher found himself facing a hefty bond, reflective of the severity of his crimes.
