Blake Lively plans to take the stand in her legal battle with Justin Baldoni. Her lawyer confirmed that the actress will testify at the trial, which is scheduled for March 2026 in New York.
Lively, 37, is suing her former co-star Baldoni, 41, for sexual harassment, claiming he made inappropriate comments on set.
She also alleges that he and his PR team launched a smear campaign against her.
Baldoni denies any wrongdoing and has filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist, accusing them of defamation and extortion.
Lively has tried to get Baldoni’s countersuit dismissed, arguing it violates laws protecting victims of sexual harassment. The judge has not yet ruled on this, so both lawsuits are still headed to trial.
Baldoni’s lawyer responded to the news of Lively’s testimony by suggesting they hold a public deposition to raise money for domestic abuse victims. He also stated that Baldoni will testify.
Other celebrities, including Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman, might also be called to testify in the case.
