Former “Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel has revealed the real reason behind her recent move to Florida with her 14-year-old daughter, Bryn.
Initially citing “personal and professional reasons,” Frankel shared on TikTok that the decision came about very suddenly on the evening of March 19th.
Within five weeks, the 54-year-old reality star explained, she had sold her previous home and bought a new one in Florida, while keeping her apartment.
Frankel, who shares Bryn with her ex-husband Jason Hoppy, said her former large property had become overwhelming for just the two of them.
She had originally envisioned the house as a big family home for entertaining, but it ended up feeling lonely as she didn’t know many people in the community. Wanting to “simplify” her life and avoid being “home alone,” Frankel decided to make the move.
Although she had initially planned to wait until Bryn went to college, a specific “moment” prompted her to reconsider.
Frankel explained that a particular situation was negatively impacting both her and her daughter, and once she recognized the impact on Bryn, she felt empowered to make the change.
She believes the move will bring more lightness and happiness for both of them.
Frankel expressed excitement for this new chapter and thanked her fans for their support during what she described as a “tough time.”
