Get ready to feel the love as Cupid makes a special appearance on Hallmark Channel in the upcoming Loveuary film, “Because of Cupid.” Cupid offers Marcus (Evan Roderick) a classic love potion to help him win the heart of his best friend and co-worker, Naomi (Amy Groening). When Naomi uses the potion in one of her drinks at their bar, love blossoms unexpectedly.
Fans of Hallmark Channel will be thrilled to see Roderick and Groening team up for the first time in “Because of Cupid.” While both actors have starred in various projects for the network, this film marks their debut collaboration on screen.
In “Because of Cupid,” Naomi and Marcus find themselves caught up in a Valentine’s Day mocktail competition that takes an unexpected turn when Cupid intervenes with his love potion, causing a stir amongst their friends.
The talented cast of “Because of Cupid” includes Amy Groening as Naomi, known for her roles in Hallmark movies like “Tis the Season to Be Merry” and “The Santa Summit.” Evan Roderick, who plays Marcus, has also appeared in Hallmark projects such as the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries.
Adding to the cast is Adam Tsekhman, best known for his role as Gary on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
“Because of Cupid” premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 8 p.m. ET, with streaming available on Hallmark+ the following day.
