Barbie Pascual: The Drama Queen of Below Deck Down Under

Barbie Pascual, a seasoned stewardess on Bravo’s Below Deck, made quite an entrance on the latest season, Below Deck Down Under. Despite claiming she wasn’t there to cause trouble, Barbie wasted no time stirring up chaos on board the yacht.

Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, relieved to have Barbie as a quick replacement for deck/stew Mike Durrant, quickly realized she needed to proceed cautiously. Barbie’s friendship with galley hand Ellie Dubaich raised alarm bells for Daisy, who knew Ellie’s insubordination could lead to trouble.

Having appeared on a previous season of Below Deck, Daisy reached out to close friend Chief Stew Fraser Olender for insights on Barbie. Fraser’s response confirmed Daisy’s suspicions, describing Barbie as stubborn but a good worker.

Barbie wasted no time jumping into drama mode, particularly with second stew Jenna Woudberg. Convinced that Jenna disliked her, Barbie quickly made it her mission to turn the crew against her. The tension between Barbie and Jenna was palpable, with Barbie already plotting to flirt with deckhand Eddy Hounsell to annoy Jenna.

As Barbie and Jenna vied for attention from the crew, tensions escalated. Barbie’s flirtatious behavior with both Ben Robinson and Eddy quickly backfired, leading to conflict at the dinner table. Despite trying to keep her cool, Jenna couldn’t hide her jealousy as Barbie cozied up to Eddy.

In the midst of the drama, Daisy and Eddy observed Jenna’s growing frustration with Barbie. Ben also became fed up with Jenna’s behavior, questioning her need for attention from multiple crew members.

Ultimately, the conflict reached a breaking point when Ben decided to distance himself from Jenna, citing the drama as a reason for their strained relationship. Barbie, on the other hand, continued to bond with Eddy, suggesting he could do better than Jenna.

While the drama onboard made for compelling television, the underlying tensions between the crew members highlighted the challenges of working in a high-pressure environment like Below Deck Down Under.

Catch all the drama on Below Deck Down Under, airing Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
