Arielle Kebbel Reflects on “Gilmore Girls” Experience and Reuniting with Milo Ventimiglia

Arielle Kebbel, the talented actress known for her role in the beloved WB series “Gilmore Girls,” recently shared some interesting behind-the-scenes insights during a candid interview with Us Weekly. Alongside her co-star from “I Can Only Imagine 2,” Milo Ventimiglia, Kebbel reminisced about their time on the iconic show that ran for seven seasons until 2007.

Kebbel portrayed Lindsay, Dean Forester’s wife, on “Gilmore Girls,” a character that joined the series in its third season. Reflecting on her experience filming the show as a teenager, Kebbel revealed that her mother was by her side on set, adding an emotional layer to her portrayal of a young bride. Ventimiglia humorously prodded about her mother’s interactions with Jared Padalecki, who played Dean, teasing about her first on-screen kiss.

Despite their characters not having many interactions on “Gilmore Girls,” Ventimiglia remembered a specific moment where Jess made a slightly unkind comment to Lindsay about her music taste. Kebbel, however, didn’t see Jess as a jerk, viewing him more as the mysterious guy in the leather jacket.

In a later interview with Extra TV, Kebbel expressed her excitement at reuniting with Ventimiglia for “I Can Only Imagine 2,” where they portrayed a fictional husband-and-wife duo, Hilary and Tim Timmons. She praised Ventimiglia’s professionalism and his ability to dive deep into his character work, forming a close bond with Timmons, a Christian musician.

Kebbel’s story of her time on “Gilmore Girls” with Ventimiglia offers a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes dynamics of the beloved show. It showcases the lasting connections formed on set and the growth experienced by young actors in the competitive industry.
