In the “Castrati” sketch, Ariana played a boy who was castrated to keep his voice high, impressing the prince with his vocal talents. Special guests Maya Rudolph and Andy Samberg made appearances as her character’s parents.
Ariana’s best friend, Elizabeth Gillies, was backstage, sharing behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the night, including a clip featuring the character “Little Antonio.” She congratulated Ariana on her remarkable SNL performance, mentioning “Little Antonio” without words.
Ethan reacted to Elizabeth’s post, commenting, “Live, Laugh, Little Antonio.” He later joined Ariana at the SNL afterparty at L’Avenue at Saks.
