Veteran actor Jung Woo-sung, 51, and actress Shin Hyun-bin, 38, recently found themselves at the centre of unexpected dating rumours. These rumours started after their work together on the Korean remake of Say You Love Me, which aired in late 2023. The rumours began circulating across online platforms, where fans speculated that the two might be romantically involved after reportedly being seen together at a wine bar wearing similar outfits, including matching coats and hats. Additionally, netizens highlighted that the wine bar they visited, known as a favourite of Jung Woo-sung, was the same location Shin Hyun-bin had celebrated her birthday, adding fuel to the speculation.
However, representatives for both actors swiftly dispelled the rumours. Artist Company, Jung Woo-sung’s agency, addressed the situation on November 9, stating that the dating rumours were “groundless.” Yooborn Company, representing Shin Hyun-bin, clarified that the outing was purely coincidental, involving a larger group of drama staff who were also present at the venue. The agency emphasized that the actors’ connection remains friendly and professional, with no romantic involvement.
While the show ended nearly ten months ago, in January 2024, Jung Woo-sung and Shin Hyun-bin still get talked about but they have reaffirmed their relationship as colleagues and friends.
