Even after Blake Lively won her recent legal battle against Justin Baldoni, her friendship with Taylor Swift is still uncertain.
A source told Us Weekly on Wednesday, June 11, that while it was good news for Lively, she and Swift haven’t become close friends again yet.
The source added that Swift has not contacted Lively and still doesn’t want to talk about the lawsuit.
Lively, 37, is “hopeful” that she and Swift, 35, will fix their friendship, but for now, there’s still a distance between them.
Their friendship hit a rough patch because of Lively’s legal fight with Justin Baldoni, her co-star and director from the movie “It Ends With Us.” Lively had sued Baldoni in December 2024, claiming sexual harassment and retaliation.
In January, Baldoni fought back with his own lawsuit, accusing Lively of damaging his reputation and trying to get money from him.
He even involved Swift in the case, claiming Lively used her friendship with Swift to try and take control of the movie’s production.
In May, Baldoni’s lawyer even called Swift to be a witness in the trial, which is set for March 2026.
