Biography of Anne-Claire Coudray

Anne-Claire Coudray is a French journalist and television presenter. She was born on February 1, 1977, in Rennes, Brittany. However, she grew up in Locmariaquer, Morbihan with her two sisters. She was born to a psychologist and an English teacher.

Education

She attended a Catholic school in Vannes and then two years of hypokhagne and khâgne preparatory courses at the Lycée Guist’hau in Nantes.

She went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts and master’s degree in history from the University of Rennes 2 – Upper Brittany. In 2000, she also graduate from the School of Journalism in Lille.

Career

After graduating at the School of Journalism of Lille in 2000, Anne-Claire Coudray then began her career as a reporter for the Internep agency of Lille, where she worked on stories for TF1 and Arte Info.

She has also worked for the French news channel France 3 and presented several programs on the station. She began working for TF1’s news service in May 2000, moving to Paris in 2004.

Some important events she reported include, the 2008 Summer Olympics, the visit of Pope Benedict XVI in France in September 2008, the United States presidential election of 2008, and even the French military parade on 14 July 2009.

In 2010 she was named senior reporter for TF1’s foreign service. She also reported on both TF1 and LCI the Ivorian presidential election opposing Laurent Gbagbo and Alassane Ouattara. She covered the presidential election of 2012 for TF1 in the United States in 2012.

In the 2017 French presidential election, she hosted a debate between the top five candidates on March 20th.

In 2015, at 38, Anne-Claire Coudray had her daughter, Amalia with her husband, Nicolas Vix.
