American Airlines’ Centennial Menu: Martha Stewart-inspired Caviar Elegance

Martha Stewart, known for her love of baked potatoes with caviar and crème fraîche, has made luxury dining a lifestyle staple. And now, American Airlines is following suit by introducing caviar to select premium cabins this spring, aligning perfectly with the aura of luxury that Stewart embodies.

In celebration of its 100th anniversary, American Airlines is launching a centennial-inspired inflight menu in 2026, with caviar stealing the spotlight for Flagship passengers during April. Served in international Flagship First, Flagship Business, and transcontinental Business Class, the caviar offering adds a touch of opulence to the elevated appetizer course of the menu.

Rhonda Crawford, American’s Senior Vice President of Customer Experience Design and Strategy, expressed excitement about the centennial menus, which pay homage to the flavors of the airline’s early days in a way that resonates with modern travelers. The menus aim to create a special and memorable dining experience, reflecting American’s commitment to excellence.

The introduction of caviar, accompanied by blinis and a deviled egg with crème fraîche, showcases a classic definition of luxury that feels current and sophisticated. Reminiscent of Stewart’s penchant for lavish but simple ingredients, the caviar service exudes elegance and refinement.

In addition to caviar, the centennial menus feature a range of classic “continental”-inspired dishes in premium cabins. From prawn cocktail to beef Wellington with béarnaise, the menu captures the essence of upscale dining in the skies. Domestic First Class passengers can also enjoy a taste of the 1920s with dishes like beef Wellington and pecan tart.

American’s move to elevate its premium cabins aligns with a broader industry trend of refreshing menus with high-quality ingredients and distinct offerings. By focusing on comfort, nostalgia, and luxury cues, airlines are reinventing the front of the plane to create a special and exclusive experience for passengers.

The centennial menus will be available through August, giving travelers ample opportunity to indulge in the celebration midair. In 2026, American Airlines’ premium seats offer luxury in a timeless manner that transcends trends and showcases the airline’s dedication to providing an exceptional inflight experience.
