America Votes for Top 20 Contestants on American Idol at Aulani

The Top 20 contestants of American Idol were revealed at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai’i, marking the beginning of America’s voting for the competition. Host Ryan Seacrest announced the switch from the American Idol app to social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for voting, along with text and online voting options remaining available.

America is tasked with voting for 10 of the Top 20 to advance to the Top 14, with the results to be unveiled on the March 30 episode. Contestants Makiyah, Jake Thistle, Genevieve Heyward, Daniel Stallworth, Kyndal, Kutter Bradley, Jesse Findling, Hannah Harper, Braden Rumfelt, and Brooks took the stage, showcasing their talents for the judges Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie, along with guest mentor KeKe Palmer and mentor Brad Paisley.

The evening was filled with standout performances, including Makiyah’s rendition of “Bang Bang,” Jake Thistle’s powerful delivery of “The Power of Love,” and Genevieve Heyward’s unique take on “Pink Pony Club.” Daniel Stallworth impressed Lionel Richie with his version of “All Night Long,” while Kyndal’s performance of “Call Your Mom” earned high praise from Luke Bryan.
