Alabama Shakes, the beloved band hailing from Athens, Alabama, has recently announced their highly anticipated nationwide Spring Tour in 2026.
The news was shared via the band’s Instagram account with a captivating promotional video captioned: “New year, new tour. Alabama Shakes 2026, let’s get it!!! Tickets are ON SALE NOW at AlabamaShakes.com.”
The U.S. leg of the tour is set to commence on April 16 in Richmond, Virginia, at the Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront, followed by a performance on April 17 in Asheville, North Carolina, at ExploreAsheville.com Arena. Opening both shows will be the talented Joy Oladokun.
Throughout the Southeast, Mon Rovîa will join as support acts in Memphis, Atlanta, and Raleigh. Florida fans can expect a four-city run featuring Lamont Landers, while the Spring Tour will culminate with a two-night finale at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, supported by JJ Grey & Mofro.
Alabama Shakes’ spring 2026 itinerary boasts an array of notable stops, including performances at Grind City Amphitheater in Memphis, Synovus Bank Amphitheater in Atlanta, and Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh. Lamont Landers will also join the band for shows in St. Augustine, Tallahassee, Boca Raton, and Clearwater, Florida.
In addition to their tour dates, the band is scheduled to perform at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and two stadium shows opening for Zach Bryan in Eugene, Oregon, and Dover, Delaware.
Alabama Shakes went on hiatus in 2018, during which time frontwoman Brittany Howard pursued her solo career, releasing successful albums like “Jaime” and “What Now.” The band reunited in 2025 to release “Another Life,” their first new track in nearly a decade.
Fans are eagerly anticipating whether Alabama Shakes will debut new songs during the upcoming tour, especially after the band signed with Island Records, hinting at more music on the horizon.
The return of Alabama Shakes signifies a resurgence of their unique blend of 1960s British rock, Southern soul, and blues influences. Following a surprise reunion show in Alabama in December 2025, fans have been buzzing with excitement over the band’s upcoming projects.
With tickets already available for purchase, the Spring 2026 tour promises to be a standout event for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
