Prepare for one last season of gym, tan, and laundry as Jersey Shore: Family Vacation wraps up with Season 9 of the spinoff. The final 18 episodes will kick off with its season premiere on Thursday, May 7, at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
Since the debut of Jersey Shore in 2009, its young cast became overnight superstars. The OGs, including Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Angelina Pivarnick, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, and Deena Nicole Cortese, have had quite the wild ride. After a hiatus, most returned to MTV with the 2018 spinoff Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which rode the waves of success for nearly a decade.
To celebrate, and because the cast hints they’re not actually done, we’re ranking the top 20 wildest moments since the show’s freshman season in 2009.
While MTV has announced that Season 9 of Family Vacation will mark the end for the series, the stars have hinted at a potential continuation on another network or possibly making the move to streaming. Snooki and her castmates posted a video this spring captioned, “Legends don’t retire—they reroute. The network changed. The legacy didn’t. Jersey Shore is forever. Just wait until you see what’s next.”
Snooki also mentioned in an interview with GMA, “It’s not over for us. We don’t know where we’re going yet, but we had a great relationship with MTV. It’s bittersweet, but I feel like we still got more.”
