The design of the stateroom felt spacious and comfortable, with a king-sized bed that can be split into two twins and a full-size sofa bed as an upgrade from traditional options. The layout was practical, featuring a desk that doubled as a vanity and workstation, bedside tables for additional storage, and a closet with ample space and flexibility. While the sliding closet doors may pose a slight challenge, the overall storage solutions were efficient and well thought out.
In the bathroom, the standout feature was the sliding glass door in the shower, which eliminated the issue of floor flooding commonly found in other cruises. This small detail added to the overall upgraded feel of the space and made the bathroom experience more enjoyable.
Outside, the balcony offered a private space to enjoy ocean views, complete with comfortable seating and a small table. A key safety measure of a lock/unlock switch on the balcony door provided peace of mind, especially for families traveling with younger children. Location-wise, our cabin was near the aft elevator bank, which led to corridor noise and elevator dings that could be bothersome at times. To minimize noise disturbances, it’s advisable to review the ship’s deck plan and avoid high-traffic areas.
