The Legacy of Ozzy Osbourne: A Luxurious Piece of Music History

A piece of music history is now available for purchase as the luxurious Los Angeles estate of the late Ozzy Osbourne has been listed by his widow, Sharon Osbourne. The Mediterranean-style mansion, located in the Hancock Park neighborhood, is on the market for $17 million. Situated on half an acre of land, the property boasts seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a pool with hand-laid mosaic tiles, a home theater, guesthouses, a home office, outdoor dining space with a pizza oven and barbecue area, all in a main house measuring around 10,200 square feet.

The Osbournes have maintained the architectural integrity of the house over the years, while still undergoing renovations. One unique feature is the preserved part of the home theater with signatures of iconic celebrities such as Elvis Presley, Natalie Wood, and jazz musician Mel Tormé, originally added by previous owner Frank Bresee.

This iconic couple purchased the estate in 2015 for $11.85 million, before initially listing it in July 2022 for $18 million to fully relocate to their long-time mansion in Buckinghamshire, England. However, the listing was removed when their relocation plans were delayed.

Ozzy Osbourne’s passing in July 2025 marked the end of an era in the music industry, with the legendary British singer and songwriter known as the “Prince of Darkness.” His cause of death was listed as cardiac arrest, along with suffering from Parkinson’s disease and coronary artery disease, as confirmed by The New York Times and The Sun. Despite his health struggles, his last public appearance was a charity concert just 17 days before his passing, raising over $190 million for multiple charities, including Cure Parkinson’s.

The legacy of Ozzy Osbourne lives on through his music and impact on the industry, leaving behind a trailblazing career that will forever be remembered.
