Sarah Michelle Gellar Faces Frightening Hotel Fire During Paris Press Event

Amidst the hustle and bustle of a press event for her upcoming film in Paris, Sarah Michelle Gellar found herself in the midst of a frightening incident. The actress, alongside co-stars Elijah Wood and Kathryn Newton, was forced to evacuate a luxury hotel in the city when a fire broke out during the promotion of “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come.”

According to reports from TMZ, the fire originated in the kitchen of the Bristol Hotel, prompting a swift response from staff and emergency services. Around 400 guests, including the cast of the film, were swiftly cleared from the building as a safety precaution while the situation was resolved.

Despite the alarming nature of the situation, all guests were successfully evacuated, and the fire was promptly extinguished. Entertainment Weekly reported that most areas of the hotel have since reopened, with operations returning to normal shortly after the incident.

In a post on social media following the evacuation, Kathryn Newton appeared unfazed, sharing a video from inside the hotel as if nothing had occurred. Despite the chaos, there were no reports of injuries, and the cast has largely remained silent regarding the ordeal.

The evacuation comes at a busy time for Gellar, who is gearing up for the release of “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come,” the sequel to the 2019 horror-comedy. Additionally, the actress recently paid tribute to her late co-star from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” Nicolas Brendon, who passed away at the age of 54.

As Gellar navigates through both personal and professional challenges, her poise and resilience in the face of adversity are truly commendable. Amidst the chaos of a fire evacuation in Paris, she remains a pillar of strength, proving that even in the midst of uncertainty, grace and dignity prevail.
