Michelle Pfeiffer, 67, graced the red carpet in Austin, Texas at the South by Southwest Film Festival. The acclaimed actress was there to promote her new Apple TV series, “Margot’s Got Money Troubles”.
Pfeiffer stunned in a silky cornflower blue blouse paired with navy tweed trousers and a structured blazer. Elle Fanning, 27, and Dakota Fanning, 32, joined her, with Elle in a bright red midi dress and Dakota in a white maxi-length blazer dress. The trio all wore their hair down with middle parts, exuding effortless chic.
The series, created by Pfeiffer’s husband David E. Kelley, is adapted from Rufi Thorpe’s novel and stars Elle Fanning as Margot, a young mother turning to OnlyFans for financial support. Pfeiffer portrays Margot’s mom, Shayanne Millet, a former Hooters server, with Nicole Kidman, Nick Offerman, and Greg Kinnear rounding out the cast.
At the fest, Pfeiffer expressed her love for her character Shayanne, who has a warm yet combative relationship with her daughter. The screening received positive feedback with laughter filling the Paramount Theatre.
Earlier in the week, Pfeiffer and her husband made a rare red-carpet appearance for the premiere of her Paramount series “The Madison”. The show premieres tomorrow, March 14.
“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” is set to premiere in mid-April on Apple TV.
Pfeiffer’s appearance at the festival was a stylish moment that showcased her timeless elegance and fashion sense. Her choice of outfit, along with Elle and Dakota Fanning, was a standout in the sea of red carpet looks, proving that age is just a number when it comes to style.
