Sigh Announces North American Tour Starting at Fire in the Mountains Music Festival

Get ready for an electrifying performance as the Japanese experimental metal band gears up for their North American tour, kicking off at the highly anticipated music festival, Fire in the Mountains. Announced on Instagram, Fire in the Mountains shared the lineup for the festival, including Sigh alongside Colorado-based progressive metal band Dreadnought. This marks the band’s return to North America after an 18-year hiatus, with their last visit dating back to 2008 when they embarked on their first-ever North American headlining tour.

Excited about hitting the road again, Sigh’s lead vocalist, Mirai Kawashima, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming U.S. tour. In a recent Instagram post, he shared, “I am really excited that Sigh is finally touring the US again. This is going to be the first US tour in nearly 2 decades! I am 100% sure that now we have the strongest lineup ever during our 36-year career. Definitely, you have never seen a stage like ours before. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the Asian horror theater.”

Fire in the Mountains is a four-day event held at Red Eagle Campground in East Glacier, Montana, scheduled from July 23 to 26. The festival will feature performances from major international acts and exclusive reunion sets from headliners like 16 Horsepower, Enslaved, Baroness, and a surprise special guest.

As the first stop on their North American tour, Sigh is gearing up for a series of shows in July. The band will have one-night performances in Washington and Oregon, followed by a three-night run in California.
